My wife and myself made a trip to Perth to visit my buddy Sanjeev Kumar. Sanjeev’s sister happened to be partners with Ciao Italia’s owner Spartaco Rotella and we popped by for dinner. Heard about the hour long queues and our party were not subjected to a “preferential” shorter one as Ciao doesn’t accept reservations. Happy to queue and chat in nice cold weather!
Asians who studied or stayed in Perth would probably eaten there at least once. After an enjoyable 45 min wait, we were finally seated! Nice cosy atmosphere, slightly tight on space thou but settled down quickly. E Italian Mgr, Mr Salvatore gave a couple of recommendations and piping hot food was quickly zipped out shortly after.
Bruschetta $19.50 AUD
Tomato juice was oozing out every bite of this lovely Italian starter. Fresh (Really fresh) and chunky ingredients, nicely doused with olive oil made this dish impressionable. The portions were really huge and will overwhelm small eaters if they wallop one pc by themselves.
